Joining the Industrial Division at Cushman & Wakefield | Colorado Springs Commercial represents the next chapter in a career built on technical expertise, problem-solving, and a longstanding interest in commercial real estate. Following 11 years as a mechanical engineer, Mike Carroll transitioned into brokerage with a strong understanding of how businesses evaluate facilities, infrastructure, and operational requirements, along with a commitment to helping clients make informed real estate decisions.
Mike’s interest in commercial real estate began well before entering the industry professionally. Growing up around the business, he spent weekends reviewing plan sets, visiting commercial properties, and learning firsthand how buildings function and support the businesses that occupy them. That early exposure ultimately led to his first entrepreneurial venture maintaining industrial properties and established a lasting interest in the built environment.
His engineering background brings an analytical and solutions-oriented perspective to commercial real estate. Mike understands that an industrial property is more than a building; it is an operational asset that must align with a company’s current requirements, long-term objectives, and financial considerations. He applies that perspective when working with tenants, property owners, investors, and business owners throughout the Colorado Springs industrial market.
Mike is also a candidate pursuing the CCIM Designation, continuing his professional development through a rigorous, graduate-level commercial real estate curriculum focused on financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis. The designation combines advanced coursework with demonstrated transaction experience and a comprehensive examination, further strengthening the analytical framework he brings to client real estate decisions.
As a member of the Industrial Group, Mike focuses on identifying opportunities, solving complex real estate challenges, and delivering thoughtful, results-driven representation. His goal is to build long-term client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of businesses and the broader Colorado Springs industrial market.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and extended family. An avid cyclist, runner, skier, and hiker, he enjoys spending time outdoors and is always looking forward to the next adventure—and the story that comes with it.
